Necessary time between the examinations for the adults :

10th to 5th kyu : 4 months at a rate of two training/week (32 lessons).
4ème à 1er kyu : 6 months at a rate of two training/week (48 lessons).
1er kyu à shodan : 1 year at a rate of two training/week (96 lessons) and have 18 years old.

Necessary time between the examinations for the kids and juniors :

For the kids the necessary time between the transition of ranks is 3 months a rate of two training/week (24 lessons).
Thus there are 4 examinations to change the color of the belt.
